This New Travel Pillow Will Change the Way You Fly Forever

Imagine finally getting great sleep while you travel. Imagine being able to sit in any seat, on any plane, and being truly comfortable.
If you're a serious traveler who spends a lot of time in the skies, you know that comfort and rest are almost non-existent on commercial flights.
Turns out there's a new spin on an old idea that delivers all of that and more.
Everyone knows airplane seats are the worst. They get smaller every year. The price keeps going up. So-called "upgrades" are really just fees for what used to be included.
And forget comfort. That's something we waved bon voyage to long ago.
But imagine finally getting the rest you deserve while traveling. Imagine flying in comfortable relaxation -- falling asleep at takeoff and waking only upon landing -- and not having to pay extra for it every time.
Sounds too good to be true, right? It's not with the Pelakin HS Pillow by Takon.

Old travel pillows simply don't work. They feel soft and comfy at first, but they fail to offer you any real support.
The classic U-shaped style is more neck warmer than pillow, and it does nothing to keep your head up and neck straight.
It seems like every week there's a travel article talking about the "best new neck pillow", but they're ALWAYS just hype, right?
By now you're probably saying "I've seen it all, neck pillows are a waste of money. Every time I buy one, I'm just disappointed".
Hey, I get it. And that's why I changed it.

Forget the hype and check out the new G.O.A.T. in town.
When I designed our new travel pillow, I had three requirements. It had to work, it had to be comfortable, and it HAD TO WORK. Did I mention it had to work?
As you may know, it previously wasn't possible to find a travel pillow that was both supportive and comfortable.
And after one particularly painful flight on a cheap airline, I knew something had to change.
I refuse to pay for "upgrades" that get you a miniscule amount of extra legroom or 1 or 2 degrees of extra recline. The only airline upgrade that's ever worth it is flying First Class, and most of the time that's just so expensive I can't justify it. Besides, these days even those seats barely recline unless you spend thousands on lay flat seats.
So I thought "how hard can it be to make a great neck pillow?"

Wow - was I in for a surprise! It turns out it's really, really hard to make a great neck pillow.
I was humbled. I was tempted to forgive my judgment of all the pillows that came before us. After literally hundreds of iterations, I almost gave up and stopped where everyone else did.
At one point, I threw my hands in the air and said "screw it, I'm done. It's impossible!"
But after all the prototypes and countless hours in development, I had learned too much to step back and let the dream die.
It was only after I almost quit that I had a revelation:
Neck pillows don't work because the neck isn't the problem. It's the 8 pound head attached to the top of it that makes things so difficult.
Seems kind of obvious, right?
I had focused so much on the neck that I totally ignored the most important thing -- the key to making this whole thing work: the head is what needs to be supported in order to get comfortable sleep while sitting up.

Finally it all made sense!
Neck pillows fundamentally cannot work because the neck isn't the target. The head is!
I just needed to create the world's first Head Support Pillow that focuses on keeping the head upright, which spares the neck entirely.
I started testing all different types of foam and ultimately realized there isn't just one foam that could do the job.
Memory foam, which is what most travel pillows are made from, is very soft and feels nice to the touch, but it compresses so much that it just gives way under the weight of the head.
Polyurethane foam, which is what couch cushions are made from, is supportive, but is too firm to be comfortable against your cheek.
So I combined the two (and of course made it look a lot nicer than the photo) and created the first soft AND supportive foam travel pillow.

The soft memory foam goes against your cheek and shoulder, and the firm polyurethane foam forms the support on the outside.
And the next time I flew with the new prototype, I slept the entire way from Phoenix to New York City. I'd finally figured it out.
The result is simple, elegant, soft and supportive!
It's kind of like a comfy little kickstand for your head.
And they traveled happily ever after...
And so the Pelakin HS Pillow from Takon was born. The first head support pillow that gives you real comfort and support.
But there's more to this real-life fairytale. Not only does the Pelakin Pillow offer unmatched comfort for your head, it also stunt doubles as excellent lumbar support.
When you're not using it to sleep, simply place the pillow behind your lower back and immediately sink into spinal bliss.
It's kind of like meeting someone attractive and finding out they're also rich. True love 😉.
Keeping your head at the optimum angle makes all the difference...
